Choosing mascara isn’t really difficult.  There are a few things to consider when choosing your mascara:

Determine which color you want to use (clear, brown, black, blue, etc). 

• If you have blonde or red lashes, choose brown mascara.
• If you have dark lashes, choose brown for a casual look or black for more drama.
• If you want a funky look, opt for navy, green or purple.

Choose the type (waterproof or regular).

• Waterproof stays on if you are in water or sweat. Choose it if you swim, exercise, or cry a lot.  Also, if you wear contact lenses choose waterproof mascara. It flakes less than regular.  So. You’re less likely to get it in your eyes.
• Use regular if you want mascara that is easy to remove at night.  It is also gentler on the lashes.  If you notice you’re losing lashes because of heavy-duty mascara, switch to regular.

Determine what you want the mascara to do.  Do you want to lengthen, thicken, condition or curl?  Buy one kind one time and another kind another time.  Through experimentation you’ll find the one best for you.
