Mascara Make Up Tips for Teens
Teen Tips
Being young has its advantages when it
comes to all make up. You have beautiful fresh faces that become
canvases for great artwork. You can use less make up and look great. You can also use more colors and
textures. This is true with mascara for teens. An older woman would look weird in any mascara but very basic brow or black. You can have fun with
colors. So, give plum or navy or forest green a try and have fun being a teenager! (Do stick with darker
colors unless you’re trying for a really strange look). Read all of the tips we have on other pages, but here are
some more especially for you:
- Replace your mascara every three
months. This is a product you use near your eyes. You don’t want to take a chance on an eye
infection.
- Don’t ever share mascara with a
friend - it spreads germs.
-
Use
unscented baby wipes to remove eye make up. Rub lightly.
-
Use clear
mascara when you want shine and definition without color. This is especially good for those of you
blessed with naturally long-lush eyelashes.
-
If you want
to keep mascara off your face when applying it to your lower lashes, grab a sheet of toilet tissue and put
it under the lashes.
- If you’re pressed for time, apply
one coat of mascara on the upper lashes. It will still enhance the eyes but won’t take as long as two
coats on both upper and lower lashes.
- If you think you’re almost out of
mascara, soak the entire tube (tightly closed) in a glass of hot water. You’ll have more mascara ready to
apply.
-
Don’t curl
your eyelashes after applying mascara. You’ll leave mascara and eyelashes behind!
- Don’t apply more than two coats
of mascara. It’s just a waste of mascara.
