Removing Make Up
Just as you need to
put on fresh make up every day, you also need to remove your
make up every day. Leaving make up on will mess up your sheets and
pillowcases. But more than that, it will increase the chances of clogged pores. So, give your face a
chance to breathe every night by washing away make up and oil build-up. Here’s a quick way to remove your make up:
- Pull your hair
out of your face.
- Apply a dab of
eye makeup remover to a cotton ball. Gently rub it
over each eyelid.
- Add a little
warm water to your face. Then lather on a gentle facial cleanser. (Cetaphil is an excellent product to
use for this.)
- Rinse with
lukewarm water.
- Pat your face
dry with a towel. Apply a moisturizer.
In addition to the steps above, here are some additional make up removal tips to keep in mind:
-
Never wash with soap, it dries the skin too
much.
-
Do use a cleansing lotion.
-
You may want to use a toner after cleansing the face. It will
help remove any make up you missed and help close your pores.
