A Little Lipstick Makes a Big Difference

Take normal dull lips; add a little lipstick and suddenly your lips brighten your whole face.  There are so many colors of lipstick to choose from.  Have fun trying a few different colors and compare the results in your mirror.

Lips

 You can choose to enhance your lips with matte lipsticks, cremes, glosses or sheers or shimmers.  You’ll find lipstick in stick form, pots, vials, or pencils.  Some of these add moisture and shine with maybe a touch of color.  Others are created to stay on all day.

Matte lipsticks have more pigment (which adds color).  They are high on texture, but low on shine.

Cremes are more equally balanced.  They have color pigment, but also have emollients to feel creamier.

Lip glosses are low in color but high in shine.

Sheers have more color than glosses, but still have the shine.

Shimmers (also referred to as frosted lipstick) have extra ingredients to make them frosty looking.
