Lip Liner Tips

You don’t have to wear lip liner.  If you have chosen a fairly neutral colored lipstick, uneven lip lines won’t be as noticeable.  Lip liner helps define the shape of your lips and helps hold your lipstick within the lines you have created.  If you choose to use lip liner, select a neutral color or one that matches your lipstick.

• Do use a lip liner with darker colored lipsticks.  It will help keep the dark colors from bleeding.
   
• Fill in your lip liner color all over your lips if you want extra holding power for your lipstick.
   
• If your lip pencil is too soft, place it in the refrigerator for a few minutes before sharpening it.
   
• Not sure which lip liner color is best for you?  Try a neutral tawny or rosy-brown color.
