  How to Apply Lip Liner

Step 1
Start by conditioning your lips with lip balm.  Allow it to absorb into the skin.

Step 2
Choose a lip liner that is close to the lipstick color you will be using.

Step 3
Apply the liner along the natural shape of your lips.

Step 4
Start at one corner of your lower lip and work toward the center of your lip. Use short, even strokes. Then, line your top lip following the natural shape of your lip.

Step 5
Now color in your lips with the liner to get a color that really clings.
