Beautify Your Lips:
Ten Lip Gloss and Other Beauty Secrets

Don’t worry if you don’t have perfect lips. You can use lip gloss and a few other beauty tricks to make your lips beautiful and attractive. Here are just a few suggestions for enhancing the beauty of your lips:

1. Powder gives your lip gloss something to hold on to for a longer, smoother look.
     
2. If your lips are chapped or rough, put a thin layer of Chap Stick over your lip gloss or color. Chap stick helps heal and protect your lips, as well as hold in the color.
   
3. To really enhance the shine of your lips, put a thin layer of lip gloss over your lipstick.
     
4. If you’re lips shine too much, take a single ply of tissue and put it on your lips. Then, press a little powder through the tissue to tone down the shine.
     
5. To achieve longer wear, apply your lipstick or gloss. Then, blot your lips to remove all excess lipstick or gloss. Next, apply a thin layer of powder. Finally, reapply your lipstick or gloss.
     
6. To really achieve maximum shine and color, use a lip lacquer over your lipstick.
     
7. To make your lips appear fuller, put your lip gloss in the center of your mouth.
     
8. To keep your matte lip color from drying your lips, put a thin layer of lip primer over your lips before applying the matte color.
     
9. To achieve a luscious evening look, use a gold or silver lip gloss over your lip color.
     
10. Instead of using lip gloss that doesn't last long enough, rub a thick layer of petroleum jelly (e.g. Vaseline) onto your lips and around them. This is great for winter as well because it prevents chapping and cold sores.
