Beauty Tips For Eyebrows
If you study different people and
their eyebrows you’ll soon discover how important they are to
your facial expression. Too thin and your face looks harsh. Too thick and you look unfeminine and
humorous. Well-groomed eyebrows enhance your beauty. Here are some Questions and Answers to help you
create the prefect brow:
Question: What is the correct brow
color?
- As a rule, brows should be one or
two shades lighter than your hair color.
- If you’re blonde or gray, the
brows should be one or two shades darker than your hair.
- Women with fair complexions
should use a blonde shade to fill in her brows.
- Olive-toned women should go tawny
or brown.
- African-American women should use
gray to fill in their brows.
Question: What is the best eyebrow
shape?
Heredity gave you your brow
shape. You should stay with that shape. Anything else will look unnatural. With that said, there
are guidelines of where your eyebrows should start, stop and where the arch should be located:
- The eyebrow should start directly
above the inner corner of your eye (where your tear duct is located).
- The highest point should be just
a little beyond the outer corner of the iris.
- The eyebrow should end at the
outer corner of your eye.
Question: How do I keep my brows in
place?
- If your hairs have grown too
long, but they still have the shape you desire, don’t tweeze them; trim them. Brush them upward.
Then, with a tiny pair of scissors, trim the hairs that come above the natural arch of the brow.
- Spray a little hairspray on a
toothbrush then brush onto your brows. The stickiness of the hair spray will help keep them in place.
- Tame stray hairs using a dab of
hair gel and comb through to set hairs in place.
