When it comes to needing concealer, your needs aren’t much different than other women.  So, feel free to check out all Concealer Tips on the other pages.  Because acne is a bigger problem for teens, do remember to treat the acne with appropriate medication.  Concealer doesn’t heal.  It only helps hide the problem.  Here are a few extra tips just for you:

• Don’t try to conceal blemishes on a regular basis.  It could worsen the clogged pores.  Do use a water-based concealer with a built-in acne medication.

  
   

• Remember that yellow or green tones down the red from blemishes, so choose a corrective concealer to minimize the red.  Also remember to use it sparingly.
   

• Can’t get the puffiness under your eyes to minimize?  Try using hemorrhoid cream to reduce the swelling temporarily.
   

• If you have a fresh it zit appear just before the prom or some other special occasion, don’t cover it.  Instead, turn it into a beauty mark.  Using an eyeliner pencil, dot some color on top of the zit.  It’ll look natural.
