Concealer Make Up Tips
Choosing the Right Type of
Concealer
Concealer comes in a variety of forms. All of them conceal, but
some are better for one area of the face than another. Also, some cover dark circles best while others conceal
blemishes best. There are four types of concealer:
-
Sticks – are handy to use but are thicker so give a heavy
coverage. This type is great for olive or darker skin tones. They give a more opaque coverage. Use a stick
if you have really dark circles under your eyes or to cover blemishes.
-
Creams – thicker than liquid but thinner than a stick these are
good for under the eyes. They resist creasing better than liquid. Creams are good for those of you with dry
skin. They offer good coverage with moisture.
-
Liquids (wands) – are thinner and are easier to apply. This type
is best for those with lighter skin. They deliver a sheer coverage. They look best when dried.
-
Pencils – are great for dotting directly onto a pimple. They
allow a small amount to be applied in just the right place. Don’t forget to blend it in though. Also use a
pencil to help diminish those nasty lip lines!
