Emphasize your Cheekbones with Blush
Blush make up is used to
emphasize your cheekbones. It should be applied sparingly to give the face an “I’ve just been outdoors”
look. To learn where your blush spots are, look in the mirror after a physical workout. The areas where
you see a rosy glow are the areas you want to apply your blush make up.
Blush
make up comes in a variety of colors. You should choose one that
looks natural with your face. If you have pink or blue undertones, you’ll look best with something in the
rose family. If your skin has yellow undertones, the peach family will look best for you. Women of
color look great with something from the burgundy family.
Blush make up comes in
four forms:
- Powder - soft, opaque, applies well
over your foundation after dusting with a translucent powder
- Gel - sheer subtle color, applies
well on the natural face
- Cream - stronger color, applies well
over the natural face or over a creamy make up base
- Tint - sheer, natural look, applies
well over a moisturized face
