Blush Make Up Tips

• You can use a darker shade of blush to contour your face.  Apply from the earlobe downward to mid-cheek.  Then, use a lighter shade of blush to highlight the cheek.
   
• Want a sun-kissed look to your face.  Try a peach- colored blush.
   
• Already have a tan, apply bronzing powder to cheeks instead of blush.
   
• Set your foundations with loose powder.  Apply a powder blush over this.

  
   

• Looking a little pale, but don’t have blush handy – just give your cheeks a quick pinch.
   
• Looking pale and have blush handy - brush a light stroke of blusher across your forehead up by your hairline or just above your brows where the sun normally hits your face to give your face a glow.
   
• Use a blush brush the size of your cheek area so you don’t “over blush” the area.
   
• Have a flawless complexion and don’t need to wear foundation, try a liquid or crème, or gel blush.
   
• Unsure of which color blush is best for you, opt for pink or rose tone.  A nice rosy glow is the most complimentary for everyone.
   
• Choose a shade of blush that complements the shade of the lipstick you’re wearing.
   
• When applying a gel or tint, use a circular motion around the “apple”, then, move up and outward toward the hairline.
