For Your Skin?

If you’re like most people, you spend a lot of time taking care of your skin. When was the last time you looked, I mean really looked, at all the cosmetic products in your bathroom? How many of those make up products actually make your skin healthier or better?

Realistically, a few of them do. However, when you’re bombarded with all the advertisements about looking younger overnight and eliminating wrinkles forever, it’s easy to overlook the one product that will help you more than any other.

The regular and proper use of sun block is the best way you can preserve your skin and prevent accelerated aging and wrinkling.  Sunscreen can be found in many cosmetic products such as lotion, gel, roll on, spray and make up. It doesn’t cost that much to purchase a bottle of sun block. In fact, it’s more cost effective than most of the make up products you have in your bathroom.

Because there are variations in the quality and type of sun block, you should always experiment to insure you’re not allergic to it. That’s the last thing you want in your all-important cosmetic product. 

Be sure to use sun block on your hands, face and arms. Even if it’s cloudy, UV rays penetrate the clouds. If you’re driving, UV rays penetrate the glass. No matter where you are outside, chances are that UV rays will find you. 

It’s never too late to use this your most important cosmetic product. Daily use of sun block and staying out of the sun can actually reverse some skin damage.

So, when you’re considering that next cosmetic product, remember sunscreen. Be sure to use a sun bloc that has a sun protection factor (SPF) greater than 15. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
