Prom Makeup That
Lasts!
It’s the day of the
prom. To insure a great time at the prom, take time to get your makeup just right. The
evening could be a long one, so make sure your prom makeup stays up as late as you do.
Foundation
The first
thing you need to do is make sure all your old makeup is removed. Once you’ve removed all traces of old
makeup and dirt, apply a small, even amount of foundation. Don’t overdo
it. Be sure it matches the color of your skin. If you face is a little pale, try a slightly tinted
foundation. Be sure to blend the makeup. If you have any blemishes, lightly apply a
concealer.
Eyes Next, curl your eyelashes and use mascara to highlight and lengthen them. Then, apply eye shadow
that will contrast with the color of your dress. This will insure that your eyes standout. For example, peach
tones contrast with a blue dress and purple shades contrast with a darker dress. You’ll probably need to
experiment to get just the look you want. Use a small amount of lotion on your eyelids before applying your
eye shadow. This will insure your eye shadow stays on longer.
Be sure to use a
natural looking blush. Make sure it compliments both your dress and skin color.
Finally, to show off
those lips and make them really shine, use a lip-gloss rather than
lipstick. The only caution you need to take is to make sure the lip color doesn’t wash
our your face. Now, you’re ready for a great evening, so go have a great time and don’t worry about the prom
makeup.
